Devon is a BScN, RN, Psychotherapist, Educator & Advocate

Background:

Initially a graduate of Fanshawe College's Human Resource Management Program, Devon excelled in leadership roles advancing EDI within middle management. However, life threw him a curveball, and new circumstances drove his passion for change into a career in Nursing. Devon received his RPN from Fanshawe College and continued on to McMaster University for his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. 

Devon has dedicated their life to helping others, with the last two decades strongly focused on advocating for vulnerable populations, specifically 2SLGBTQA+ rights.

He continues to work as a Public Health Nurse, an RN, Psychotherapist and a Registered Nurse Supervisor. He is a member of the Canadian Professional Association for Transgender Health (CPATH), and works with local agencies and health care providers, advancing local knowledge on gender-affirming care. 

As an RN, Psychotherapist, Devon takes a compassion focused, person-centred approach with their clients.

Their areas of interest include:

- Elder care including behavioural dementias, and palliation

- Gender identity, sexuality and neurodivergence

- Queer and trans health

- Sex therapy & education

- BDSM, Kink, ENM, Polyamory, polycules and constellations.
