Our 2SLGBTQIA+ identified counsellor and support staff offer sex-positive, affirming and competent online and phone counselling in Ontario, Canada (Turtle Island) and in person sessions in St. Thomas, Ontario. We work through an anti-oppressive, intersectional feminist lens.
Along with counselling we also provide sex education workshops, gender and sexuality focused diversity, equity and inclusivity (DEI) consulting and training services to individuals and organizations worldwide.
The WHB was built with harm reduction principles at its core. We strive to meet our clients where they are at, and in their current life circumstance. Whether that means working out in the community to overcome transition related anxieties, or helping clients understand, process and overcome internalized shame or even helping mediate tough family discussions. The WHB is here to provide client-centred, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, inclusive and "non-judgey" counselling to queer, trans and non-binary youth and adults.
While the WHB is incredibly passionate about the younger members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, they are also strong advocates for compassionate elder care. Particularly surrounding sexuality, behavioural dementias and palliative care.
